But, to the original poster - 10k every 10-15 minutes (average) is not a realistic expectation from anything other than power trading, which I find detestable.

As one poster said, doing zaishen elite for the keys will give you 5k in about 30 min.

You can learn to hero fast faction farm, that earns 3750 in about 35 minutes, plus any money made from running others. Currently the rate is 50-100 gold a run, which adds 1250 to 2500 additional gold per person ran for the same 35 min, bumping the total to as much as 8750 per 35 min. Also, if you have two accounts, learn to run both and it now doubles your income.

As far as farming, I've been farming a long time (since back when the invinci-monk farm is UW was new), and that depends on what classes you have, and which campaigns, but as a rule of thumb, I aim for 1k+ for every 10 minutes of farming.

I do know (because I have done it) I can make 1 million gold in 30 days, if I put my mind to it.

I personally resort to Hero's Handbooks for gold. Helps build reputation for my individual characters as well as yielding ~40k for each r8 earned in any single reputation title.

You say that but I disagree. I have gotten 2 everlasting tonics and a nice volt spear from that chest. I made a killing off of it. However I had to flush down so many keys. I still ended up making more money from the tonics alone then I would have on the keys.

Yep. I used just under 150 keys maybe and have just recently got the Trapdoor everlasting, made me around 700k+.
It's like the lottery, some get lucky, some don't.

People like me don't get lucky with drops. I've opened enough chests to get rank 2 of that stupid title and has been 99% creme/firewater, and not a gold that's worth over 2k. Not once. I don't get lucky. Selling the z-keys i shall remain. (:

For a broke person farming is the only real answer.

Farming for up coming festivals is a good one. Farm stacks of charr carvings etc

Learning the CoF run will net you some cash, be prepared to be ripped off a fair bit though.

Offer a service. Mission runs, chest running etc

Trading won't help you until you have surplus cash. Selling low end items isn't worth the hassle because the game is full of low end items. Back in the day any gold could be sold, but those days are long gone. Power trading requires cash to make cash, and making a profit isn't always possible.

One of the best money earners is farming the cathedral of flames or better still (for me) i farm shards of orr 600/smite and that nets me quite a fair bit each run

If you can stand the smite run do that on a warrior or even better if you have an assassin you can farm ectoplasm all day long in the underworld, that seems to be very profitable according to friends...

Go to every festival and do all the quests etc exchange any tokens for booze or sugar items.
With 10 characters you should be able to get a head start on either title for free.

Other than that sell everything you find buy only what you need and money shall be yours.
Unless your talking huge quantities of cash in which case power selling has been recommended many times as the best way.

This is a bit slow tough, only 6k points per day it takes 2 days to 10-15k gold for the 2-3 keys you'll be get, if you go on RA to get the rest of the balthazar points. If you are talking about balthazar, or am I missing something?

Dumb question, but can someone tell me what exactly is power trading?

I get all my money from doing Dungeons.

In HM, get two gold drops with a good chance of something rare or a max mod. Plus about each dungeon nets me around 2-8k in drops.

I assume you've done vanquishes on your primary toon, so how about doing them on some of your secondaries?

I make 20k-30k a night. Farm 10k by 55ing or w/e, most spots only take 1 1/2 hours tops to make 10k in. I then proceed to farm the next 10k-20k PvPing, depending on how our GvG goes.

with that many maxed titles i think you should have found a way by now. Anyway you shuoldn't start threads like these due to the fact vague'ness of the question. Seriously theres not just one way of making money and if there was some super special way then everyone would be doing it.
